This is a translation. If it differs from the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.

  • Jogue.Games is a free site of indie games to play in your browser. For now, all the games are made by us.
  • You can browse and play without an account. With one, only your e-mail is required, and you can stay anonymous.
  • You keep owning what you write in reviews, which appear only under your nickname.
  • Hate, scams and illegal content are taken down. You can report from any game page.

1. Who we are and acceptance

The jogue.games site is provided by Jogue.Games. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. What Jogue.Games is

A site of indie games to play for free right in your browser, on a computer or a phone, with nothing to download. For now, all the games in the catalog are made by Jogue.Games itself.

Using the site is free. It keeps evolving: features and games may change, be added or be removed.

3. Your account

  • To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old. Between 13 and 18, with the permission of a parent or guardian.
  • Use your own e-mail and a password only you know. You are responsible for what is done with your account; if you suspect misuse, change your password and let us know.
  • Your player profile starts private, with a neutral nickname. Name, phone and bio are optional. Don't impersonate another person, and don't use an offensive or misleading nickname.
  • You can delete your account whenever you want, in Account settings.

4. What is not allowed

  • Illegal content, hate speech, threats, harassment or exposing other people's data.
  • Scams, malware, stealing passwords or data, or trying to get around the security of the site or the games.
  • Publishing someone else's text or image without permission.
  • Spam or multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, reports, favorites or metrics.
  • Bots or automated access that overload the site or copy the catalog in bulk.
  • Deliberately false reports.

5. Reviews and what you write

  • You keep owning what you write. When you publish a review, you give us a free, non-exclusive license to show it on the site while it is published.
  • Review the game, not people, and flag spoilers. Reviews have up to 2000 characters, appear under your nickname and can be edited or deleted by you.
  • A review reported by 3 different accounts is hidden until the moderators decide.

6. Reports and moderation

Any account can report a game page. A report of a scam or security risk made by an account at least 3 days old removes the game from the catalog right away, as a precaution. For other reasons, the game leaves the catalog when 3 different accounts report it. In every case, the moderators review it and decide whether the game comes back.

7. Copyright and takedown requests

If any content on the site infringes a right of yours (for example, a copied image, music or text), write to contact@jogue.games with: the page link, which work is yours and why, and a contact. We review it and, when the request is valid, remove the content.

Intimate images or videos shared without permission are removed as soon as we receive notice from the person shown or their representative, as Brazil's Internet Civil Framework provides.

8. The games and your health

Games run isolated (in a protected area of the browser), with no access to your account. Some games have flashing lights and may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy: for those, a notice appears before the game opens. If you feel dizzy, unwell or notice changes in your vision, stop playing.

9. The brand and the site

The Jogue.Games brand, logo, design, the site's code and the games in the catalog are ours. What players write belongs to whoever wrote it.

10. Responsibilities

We do our best to keep the site and the games up and secure, but they are provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Nothing here limits your rights under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor).

11. Suspension and termination

We may hide or remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, telling you the reason when possible. You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change something important, we will let you know on the site and by e-mail before the change takes effect.

13. Contact

Questions, disputes or takedown requests: contact@jogue.games or the contact form.
