Classic Spider Solitaire on a tavern table: build same-suit runs from King down to Ace to clear them off the table. Play with 1, 2 or 4 suits, use undo and hints when you get stuck and try to beat your records. Right in your browser, with mouse or touch, no sign-up.

How to play Spider Solitaire

1. Spider Solitaire uses two decks (104 cards), dealt into 10 columns. The cards left over go to the stock.
2. Move a card onto a card one rank higher, of any suit: a 7 goes on an 8, a Jack on a Queen.
3. A run only moves as a whole when it is all one suit. An empty column takes any card or run.
4. When you complete a run from King to Ace in one suit, it leaves the table. Clear all eight runs to win.
5. Out of good moves? Click the stock to deal a new card onto every column.

Tips

• Start with 1 suit to get the hang of it. With 2 and 4 suits, the game gets much harder.
• Build runs in a single suit when you can: they move together and free up the table.
• An empty column is worth a lot: it gives you room to rearrange the others.
• Make every move you can before dealing from the stock, and use undo and hints when you are stuck.
